HyperStryke
Retro arcade shooter. Defend the outpost.
A native Android 2D retro arcade space shooter powered by a custom Canvas-based game engine, procedural synth audio, tactical cover, bosses, power-ups, and a 100-level campaign.

Campaign map
10 worlds. 100 levels.
One outpost to defend.
Choose among ten deep-space sectors, each with ten levels and its own environmental identity. Progress opens new worlds while the command center keeps the campaign grounded in one continuous mission.

Enemy behavior
They don’t just move.
They hunt.
Chargers close distance. Tanks absorb punishment. Zig-Zags disrupt clean firing lanes. Splitters multiply the pressure. Destructible barricades provide tactical cover—and enemies navigate around the cover that remains intact.

Prototype program
Build the weapon
that changes the fight.
Standard bosses drop missile components. Collect all nine to unlock the Heavy Prototype Missile Launcher—the weapon designed for the Level 10 Apex Sector Boss.

Escalation protocol
Every tenth level
changes the rules.
Normal bosses test the core combat loop. Level 5 introduces stronger mid-tier threats. Level 10 brings an Apex Sector Boss—and the campaign ultimately converges on the Supreme Command Boss at level 100.
Game feel
Every hit should
feel like a hit.
Banking ships, pulsing thrusters, recoil, muzzle flashes, laser trails, micro screen shake, explosions, debris, shockwaves, score popups, combo notices, and procedural arcade audio turn every exchange into feedback.

Under the hull
Built from scratch.
A compact native Android architecture supports a custom 2D Canvas engine, procedural synth audio, local-first SharedPreferences persistence, enemy behavior systems, campaign progression, power-ups, boss logic, and local high scores.
