Active battlefield control

Iron Bastion is not passive tower defense. Abilities, target priorities, repairs, upgrades, and economy decisions keep you actively involved throughout every wave.

Drop concentrated damage on a targeted area.

Slow the entire battlefield when pressure starts building.

Temporarily double rewards from defeated enemies.

Escalating pressure

The battlefield
pushes back.

Jammers disrupt nearby defenses. Shield generators protect groups. Splitters become faster enemies. Stealth units demand detection. Multi-phase bosses and alert waves force specialized answers.

As pressure rises, the command interface reacts with stronger visual and audio warnings while the defense line approaches failure.

Run-shaping strategy

Every run develops differently.

At key milestones, choose one of three Field Command Directives. Each decision changes towers, economy, defense, or battlefield control for the rest of the run.
